MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION PLANNER
SAES Pure Gas, Inc., a world leader in semiconductor gas purification is seeking an experienced Material and Production Planner.
Responsibilities Include:
Enter Sales/Marketing Forecast and plan material requirements for product lines
Monitor planned order report for purchase and make parts
Generate purchase requisitions based on current forecast, past history and general current trends.
Work closely with Sales/Marketing and Engineering to determine and verify material requirements
Release work orders
Monitor/Track/Expedite and De-expedite production material
Establish/monitor safety stock levels and planning kits
Generate rework orders and scrap transactions as needed for MRB
Represent material issues at MRB, CCB, CES meetings and Kickoff meetings
Monitor material costs for CES products
Input all planning and inventory data for new items
Generate packing lists for shipments
Maintain vendor teaming forecasts
Review of Excess and Obsolete inventory
Provide lead-time answers for availability requests
Support customer service inventory requirements
Create routings (as needed to support Mfg Engr)
Pull kits and perform additional inventory transactions (as needed to support Stores personnel)
Receive items (as needed to support Receiving personnel)
Create purchase orders (as needed to support Purchasing activity)tems (as needed to support Receiving personnel)
Track production items through manufacturing as needed
Preferred Education/Experience:
BS in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering (Production emphasis) or equivalent experience
Detail oriented
Ability to analyze information, to make judgements based on analysis, to make decisions and to direct others
Verbal ability to ask questions and to explain things clearly
Ability to multi-task
APICS certification (desired)
